DIRECTORATE CHANGE December 2004

The Pipehawk announces with regret that Tony Norton has resigned as managing
director of the Company with immediate effect to pursue other business
interests.

The Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Bob Tallentire as group
finance director and as managing director of Adien Limited, a wholly owned
subsidiary of the Company.

Commenting on the changes, Gordon Watt, Chairman said, "Tony has built Adien up into one of the foremost utility detection and mapping companies in the country and we are sorry to see him go. Bob Tallentire is a chartered accountant and has been managing director of a small group of businesses in the past; he has worked closely with Tony for the last two years, and I am confident Adien will continue to grow under his guidance."

Robert Graham Tallentire ACA, aged 45, is currently a director of Farfeste
Investments Limited, Pickworth Investments No 6 Limited and Freedom Fleet
Limited.

Mr Tallentire has confirmed that there is no further information required to be
disclosed under paragraph 15 of the AIM Rules.
